The Role

Requirements

We are looking for an excellent payroll administrator to join the team and be responsible for a portfolio of clients, deailing with payroll and pension submissions. As our client experience is our highest priority, we are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting our clients and making a difference. •    Ability to self motivate and be a team player who’s not afraid to roll up your sleeves and ‘muck in’ when required
•    Some level of qualification preferred but practice experience essential
•    Experience with IRIS would be a help

Responsibilities

•    Process and submit weekly payroll and pension for one client with 12 employees
•    Process and submit up to 140 monthly payrolls including many director payrolls
•    Looking after monthly pension submissions for circa 50 clients
•    Manually calculating PAYE and NI calculations where necessary
•    Calculate and process Statutory Maternity Pay, sick leave pay, holiday entitlement, overtime, benefits, bonuses, salary sacrifice and leavers and joiners
•    Quarterly payroll and pension billing
•    Producing final payroll reports, P45s and P60s
•    Managing the monthly reconcilliations for payments to HMRC and other third parties
•    Setting up workplace pension schemes and enrollment of employees
•    Prepare and submit Declaration and Re-Declarations of Compliance to The Pension Regulator
