Coronavirus Update: Statutory Sick Pay

The Government have extended the statutory sick pay (SSP) regulations so that employees that are required to self-isolate and cannot work are able to get SSP from the first day they are off. Employers are able to claim back SSP paid to employees from HMRC through their payroll.
