The Role

Requirements

We are looking for an excellent client manager to join the team and be responsible for a portfolio of clients, delivering both accounting and business support to help our clients grow and become the best they can be. As our client experience is our highest priority, we are looking for someone who is passionate and dedicated to being the best they can be too. •    Excellent communication skills and the understanding of client service being number one
•    Ability to motivate and lead team as well as be a team player who’s not afraid to roll up sleeves and ‘muck in’ when required
•    Qualified ACA or ACCA with strong technical skills and minimum of 5 year experience in practice
•    Experience with OMBs and the issues specific to them
•    Experience with IRIS, QuickBooks, Xero, Futrli and Silverfin and have a strong digital mindset

Responsibilities

•    Preparation and finalising accounts and associated tax returns
•    Supporting clients with business management and accounting functions
•    Management accounts, budgets and forecasts
•    Overview of general tax planning such as profit extraction for OMBs
•    Preparing/assisting with business plans and data analytics
•    Responsible for digital implementation and support for clients with cloud accounting
•    Reviewing work and training of less senior team members
•    Managing team and ensuring client deadlines are met
•    Reporting to and liaising directly with partners and clients
•    Assisting partners with practice management functions to grow the firm
